The third edition of the SPE Brazil Turbomachinery, Compressor, and Pump Symposium will happen on the 1st and 2nd of September 2026.
The first and second editions were a great success, with more than 300 participants. The second edition covered themes such as “Improving Machines Reliability”; “How to carry out integrated health and human behavior management increasing value to workers and customers”; “Finding ways to improve the contracts”; “How to manage input impacts”; “Reliability and environmental issues, they play on the same team”; “How maintenance can impact the results”, “Reliability and availability as relevant disciplines in the design of systems and machines” and “How to upgrade low performance”.
The leading suppliers, including Siemens Energy, Eagle Burgman, Baker Hughes, Sulzer, and others, discussed new technologies, market trends, and lessons learned about rotating machines in the petroleum industry with operators such as Petrobras, Equinor, MODEC, SBM, Yinson Production, and Shell.
This second edition has as sponsors Petrobras, Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, VOITH, AAF, Eagle Burgmann, ETM, and SSE.
The Exhibition area counted with nine companies, Honeywell, CCC, Freudenberg, ETM, AAF, AVEX Brasil, KSB, VOITH, and SSE.
This symposium aims to discuss strategies for reducing maintenance costs, enhancing machinery performance, improving reliability, and minimizing investments.
Considering an environment where energy transition is an industry demand, high-speed database analysis processes are available, and new sensors, combined with conductors that monitor the rotation of machines, are a reality, there is no doubt that a new world of opportunities has arrived.
As artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions may significantly impact industry operations and potentially have a disruptive yet valuable impact on operations in the near future, this fact is a good example.
This two-day meeting provides an excellent opportunity to network and stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends.
The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) – Macae and Brazil SPE Sections are organizing this event; SPE is a non-profit organization, and “collect and disseminate petroleum knowledge” is the SPE’s primary mission, and “create opportunities to develop ways to return to our society and even better industry” is the goal of this event.
Be part of this event, talking and networking, where the industry leaders, scientists, academia, engineers, and technicians who work with rotating equipment will meet.
