Joined CENPES in August 2008, focusing on R&D project execution and coordination. Specialized in monitoring and diagnostic methodologies using dynamic and static simulators, as well as AI techniques. Completed a master’s degree in 2014, with a dissertation on optimizing the operation of thermal power plants. Served as Scrum Master and Product Owner, applying agile methodologies from 2019 to 2023. Coordinated an R&D portfolio to improve equipment availability and reliability in the Refining sector, encompassing inspection, monitoring, corrosion control, maintenance, and repair. Currently working as a coordinator for dynamic equipment in E&P since February 2024, tackling challenges such as performance indicators, predictive maintenance, cooperation agreements, wireless sensing, AI-based failure prediction, and departmental integration.
